Just as a reminder for those of you about to register as an auto-entrepreneur online:
- The only official website is www.lautoentrepreneur.fr and is a 100% free. Avoid sites charging you 89€ for registration such as www.declarer-auto-entrepreneur.fr.
- Artisans wishing to register online via www.lautoentrepreneur.fr are redirected to the Guichet Unique website. This is an official website, but it’s unreliable. I would strongly advise you to go and register direct with your local Chambre de Metiers. I have come across a few occasions when registrations were lost in cyberspace and never processed.
