NIF request from bank

I finally went with AXA bank for my auto entrepreneur account which I am quite happy with so far. However, since opening they have now requested my NIF Numéro d’Identification Fiscale to check I am a tax resident in France.

But as I have not declared tax in France yet, as I only started working in January 2019 and moved here in July 2018. Is there a way I can request a NIF to be generated earlier so I can give this to the bank? Do you know who I would contact for that? I’ve been given 60 days by the bank to provide this information. 

Or perhaps I should contact the bank instead of a provide my siren or something else?

Réglementation « Common Reporting Standard » (CRS ou « Norme Commune De Déclaration »)

En 2014, une centaine de pays – dont la France – se sont engagés à appliquer un nouveau standard d’échange de renseignements relatifs aux comptes financiers afin de combattre l’évasion fiscale : « Common Reporting Standard » (CRS).

Depuis, la réglementation s’est renforcée et demande désormais aux établissements bancaires de collecter votre (vos) résidence(s) fiscale(s) ainsi que votre (vos) NIF(s) (Numéro d’Identification Fiscale) (Article 1649 AC du Code général des impôts).

Quel risque pour vous en l’absence de réponse ou de réponse incomplète/erronée ?

L’administration fiscale vous adressera une amende de 1500 € (Article 1740 C du Code général des impôts).
