Newly registered auto-entrepreneur + declaring social charges online

I have recently registered my gite business under the Auto-Entrepreneur system with a start date of 1st June 2009. My business is registered as trade ( I hope I have done this correctly!) so falls under the turnover limit of 80,000 euros with a 12% social charge. I have received a letter from INSEE with my siret number.  I would very much appreciate anyones help and experience on the following:

  1. I believe that my turnover declarations can be made through net enterprises and that I now need to register. I would not choose to include tax at this time - I would pay whatever is due as part of my annual tax return. What is the deadline for my first quarter payment for social charges, i.e. turnover in June 2009? Following this when is the deadline for the 3rd quarter?
  2. Once I have registered what can I expect to hear from whom - will I receive notification of my payment? Will I be allocated a social security number? Will I be eligible to apply for a carte vitale?
  3. Do the social charges include a pension contribution as I have been told that once you are registered as self employed, pension contributions are obligatory but that it is up to you to ensure you pay them. If they are not included then what percentage should I pay and to whom?
