More About Location Gérance

I have had professional advice that I should set up a ‘Location Gérance’ in order to rent out my business and professional property (which I own) to someone else. Can you shed some light on this structure/set-up? Do I have to have an existing SARL/SASU in place for example? Or can I be an individual without an existing business structure in place? Is Location Gérance a kind of structure or is it just a contractual agreement?
