Micro Entreprise moving to another region in France

My partner is a micro-entrepreneur who has been registered and operating since 2017, we will be moving north to a completely different department and region where he intends to continue to run his business. Given that some things can vary from one region to another in France, I would like your advice as to whether he should do an address change on INPI.fr, or should he approach the local Chambre de Metier where we are moving to? I’m worried (probably unnecessarily) about being declined by the new CMA.
