Micro-enterprise - is it the right one for me?

I have a micro-enterprise handyman business in France and i am wondering if I am on the right system. I registered July 2016 as moved to France June 2016. I am used to a UK system as I ran a sole trader business there for 12 years.

I have made my social charge declarations accordingly to the RSI. I understand that you can’t claim any expenses back under this system, but at what point do you become better off to be on a different system so you can claim back expenses?
For instance if my labour sales were €32000, material sales were €25000 of which they are marked up by 25% and associated with running the business costs of approx €10000, would I be better off on a reel simplifie or is micro enterprise better?
If I were to go over the threshold this year for my labour say €40000 what would be the implications of doing this?
