Lower rate TVA?

New to TVA and hoping someone, other than Valerie, might be able to help. I know that I can charge the client the lower rate on my labour, however can I also give them the lower rate TVA on materials? Interested to know how other macons deal with materials. Do you look to make a profit on materials? Or, mark them up and then charge the lower rate of TVA?
