Liability insurance for tutoring as auto-entrepreneur
I’m an American auto-entrepreneur providing online tutoring services to French secondary school students via Zoom. I’m evaluating professional liability insurance through Coover.fr and similar options, and would appreciate your guidance on what coverage is genuinely necessary for my situation, if anything at all.
My primary concerns are:
(1) Is specialized coverage for false misconduct allegations available or recommended for education professionals in France, given the sensitive nature of working with minors?
(2) How critical is dedicated cyber liability coverage for data security breaches and GDPR violations when handling student information through online platforms (gmail, google drive, zoom, etc)?
(3) Does basic professional liability insurance typically include legal defense for regulatory disputes and potential accusations, or is additional legal protection coverage worth the extra cost?
(4) Could you advise on whether French insurance policies provide international protection for cross-border service delivery, and the practical ease of modifying coverage if I were to relocate outside France while maintaining my clients inside France?
Thank you!
