Income tax - SARL versus enterprise individuelle regime reel

If I understand correctly a business registered in France, as we are, as enterprise individuelle régime rée will be allowed to deduct all business expenses and the level of cotisations will be based on its net profits at around 46%. Will we also need to pay income tax at whatever rate on the same profit?

Say I had a net profit of 30,000 euros I would pay around 14,000 euros in cotisations, but if not married, no kids I would pay tax on everything as well over the personal allowance which I think is about 5,000 euros, so I would pay a fortune in income tax as well as cotisations? Am I not better off going the EURL / SARL route with minimal salary and year end tax paid dividend as some have suggested.
