How to register as a labouring and teach art?

I have been considering several options to give me a small income but am unsure how to register under a self-employed status. I have provisionally acquired work in the following:

Erecting exhibitions, which involves some minor carpentry/construction skills. This will be available throughout the autumn / winter / spring periods.
Teaching art to local people on a 2 hour weekly basis throughout the year.
As an artist I would like to be in a position to sell my work either through exhibitions or on the internet.
Taking on small odd jobs using simple carpentry / DIY skills.
Being able to offer my services / skills to other carpenter / builders on a labouring level.

I understand that there are several different departments to cover this range of skills but I am unsure what my self-employed title/titles should be and how I go about registering for them. If you could shed some light on this I would be eternally grateful.
