How long does it take to modify the activity?

My partner has made an application to modify his activity from hommes toutes mains to commercant at the end of June. It was a paper application to CFE, who emailed to confirm receipt the 29th June. Have just made a declaration for the last trimestre on line and see he is still registered as hommes toutes mains. I made the declaration as sale of goods which is what he is now doing. How long does it normally take to modify the activity? I have checked the dossier on line and it says only that it was received at the end of June.

I am concerned as he may be adding a second activity imminently, is this a problem? Do we have to wait for confirmation about the modification first?
