How do I stop being an auto-entrepreneur and become an ayant droit?

My partner (PACS) and I both have our own auto-entrepreneur and own sociale security numbers, although no cartes vitales yet. My partner is thinking of stopping his auto-entrepreneur. How long after the end date will he be able to stay insured with RSI/RAM under his current social security number?
What will we need to do to make him insured as my ayant-droit? I assume I need to contact my RSI/RAM, but I don’t really know where to start, especially not since we are still in the carte vital development stage. I’m not even sure if I my secu number is permanet or provisoire. Are there any extra costs involved for an ayant droit ?
