How do I start a business in France while working part time?
I am looking for some initial advice on how to proceed before setting up a company here in France.
I am developing a service company for the aviation industry that I would like to initiate in the coming months. In the meantime I may need to earn some money working as a temporary contractor on projects, either in support of a project based in Singapore where I was previously working or in Basel, Switzerland (just over the border from where we live in the Alsace).
I had envisaged setting up as a sole proprietor so I could work as a freelance contractor while in parallel developing my business but having read through some of the material on your site I believe that this is not necessarily feasible.
How do others who are in need of funding themselves during the early phases of business development manage this?
