How do I set up business in France as an artist?

I am registered as an auto-entrepreneur business agent commercial with RSI (Régime social des indépendants) in France, but I wish to cease this activity. I would like to register as an artist in France and sell my paintings and craft items. I expect my income in the first year to be about 7,000 euros to 10,000 euros.

  1. Who do I register with, maison des artistes, chamber de metiers, auto-entrepreneur or all three?
  2. Would this give me independent health care cover?
  3. What cotisations/taxes would be involved?
