How do I change or challenge the NAF code?
I registered as an auto entrepreneur (profession liberale) in July and received my SIRET number shortly afterwards, but have not received anything else since. I called URSSAF and was told that my dossier had been forwarded to CIPAV (retraite) and RAM (maladie) but the NAF code I’ve been attributed is under RSI (and not RSI PL), hence the delay.
I registered my profession as auteur scientifique on the application and this seems to have caused the confusion as I was placed under the code 7490B which is Activités spécialisées, scientifiques et techniques diverses which is apparently classed with commercants / artisans for RSI.
If I understand correctly if I’m affiliated with RSI and not CIPAV my deductions will be higher i.e. 21.3% rather than 18.3%. However when I look at profession affiliated with CIPAV I find ‘redacteur scientifique’ which is maybe a better translation of my work. I would therefore like to change / challenge the NAF code which has been attributed - any advice on how to do this?
