How do I chase up my Carte Vitale?

I’m sure this is very normal but now I’ve joined the site I just want to check. I applied for my Carte Vitale around 9 months ago. Then around 5 months ago I was asked to send an approved version of my birth certifiate, which I did. And I haven’t heard anything since. Would you suggest I try and chase this up somehow, or just sit it out patiently and wait for it to arrive ... eventually!
