How can a UK company pay commission to agents in France?

Would it be possible to explain the implications of using agents in France that are paid on commission. What is the simplest way they can be registered to work to do part time work? Would this be as Agents Commercial and if so - how do they do that? We are not wanting to employ anyone and just need to be able to, as a UK registered company, legally engage the services of individuals that would periodically work for us.
