I would like to find some temporary help for the months of June, July and August. We only need someone for about 10-12 hours per week. I am a bit unclear on our obligations regarding this. Can we just pay someone cash and let him or her be responsible for declarations etc. I have heard it is very complicated and so far have avoided hiring any temporary help. Is there an allowable amount you can spend each year on casual labour? There are a lot of people offering this service and I want to be sure we do everything above board.
