Health cover while waiting for RSI registration
I have just received my SIRET number but nothing yet regarding health cover. Judging from other postings regarding this, it is probably too early to start chasing them. In the meantime I have to go the the dentist today for what, I think, will be some expensive dental work. I am currently registered with a Carte Vitale through CPAM and a mutuelle with Swiss Life. My question is, what do I do with the feuille de soins once I’ve paid for the treatment? Should I deposit it at the CPAM office immediately or wait until I hear from RSI and claim under my new scheme? I don’t want it to disappear down a black hole during this transitionary period.
When I went to the dentist for the initial appointment a few days ago she input my carte vitale for the dossier details and it was obviously still “live” at that time. Do CPAM automatically forward such claims to the correct organisation if you submit them while waiting for the RSI registration? Also, do I have to do anything to notify my current mutuelle about my change in status
