Health and medical cover with no turnover?

We started our business in 2003 and sold it 31/08/2010 (para hotelier). We are covered with RSI (Ram gamex) until 31/08/2011. We sent our carte vitales back to Ram gamex at their request and have attestaion valid until 31/08/2011. I want to set up a consultancy advising other business in this industry as auto-entreprenuer. If I do not have any turnover for the first 9 months for example will I, my wife and daughter still be covered for health and medical expenses as before? Or would we be better to be covered under CPAM/CMU as a resident? Are there other taxes, charges etc. I will have to pay even if I dont have turnover? How do I register and under what category?
