Going over the auto-entrepreneur limit and possible reinstation?

I signed up to the Auto-Entrpreneur scheme in July 2009, and declared two trimestrial incomes before getting the letter at the end of March telling me I had gone over the annual limit.  As in other cases, it appears they have taken my 2 declarations, and scaled the total up for the entire year, which means I have passed the upper limit for the Auto-Entrepreneur earnings cap, so I am no longer able to be part of the scheme.

I have been looking around trying to figure out my next steps, when I came across your site. I had been reading up on what to do when I noticed your post on Auto-Entrepreneurs getting reinstated. I read the Les Echos article, and this has given me hope that I will be able to rejoin the system, as (like many others) my earnings fluctuate during the year, and the next level up would mean I pay so much more taxes and social contributions, I would end up actually receiving less money. Have you heard any more information on this, and if so, how can I go about getting myself reinstated?
