I am a French resident have a auto-entrepreneur business set up for online sales. I also have a directorship in a UK business which I have to declare in the UK and then France. I have started a new online business selling high quality parasols for the UK and French market.

My intention is to put my French sales through the auto-entrepreneur and my UK sales through a UK Sole Trader set up linked to a UK address. I can then declare my foreign (UK) income on the French tax return. My supplier wants to invoice to a UK address only.

Is it OK to do what I am suggesting, by that I mean a French resident working with a UK Sole Trader? I am right in thinking that my tax liabilities are in the UK for UK sales and France for French sales? Or because I’m French resident is it all paid in France? I know I won’t get duel tax but want to pay the right bit in the right place.
