Extrait d’acte de naissance

I’m trying to sort out the paperwork for my partner to get his carte Vitale. I have previously sent a translated version, which had previously requested but this was a ‘short’ birth certificate (without parent information). He has now been sent another letter requesting:

- Un extrait d’acte de naissance où figure le cachet sec d’authentification
- Une copie integrale de votre acte de naissance avec filiation (identitié des parents) en langue originale.

Please can you explain what is required - I’m guessing a copy of the ‘long’ birth certificate with parents’ details and a authentication stamp…is that correct? Thanks!
