Establishing a branch office in France

I have commenced importing French oak and building salvage items from France in the last 6 months. The business is growing quickly and I am considering setting up a business presence in France - most likely Tours - through a small branch office and business banking account.
I need advice and assistance to understand the best direction to take in assessing and deciding the right business structure, setting it up and detailing its legal operation. I expect to be exporting up to 10 containers of French oak and antique salvage items per year by the end of 2016.
