Entreprise individuelle vs. SASU which is best

Bonjour Valerie,

My husband is a sales/leasing consultant and would like to start a business as a sole proprietor but not sure which option is the best.
We are looking to minimize social charges if possible (since they seem to be the highest percentage).

He estimates that he would make between 150-200K euros.

1.  We have savings, so not necessary for a monthly salary per se - (ie. waiting for dividends would work).
2.  We currently pay for private health insurance (do not have/use carte vitale)
3.  Primarily would do sales consulting work for 2 companies, but maybe 1-2 small projects from other companies during the year
4.  Expenses are low (5K total) - with the only big expense being travel costs (if any), which the companies would pay for?

Is it possible for you to do a calculation to explain which option would work best?

Thank you for your time, Keli
