End of Conjoint Collaborateur!

My husband is today on a course at the Chambre des Métiers in Nouvelle Aquitaine he will be starting up our new business. We had been planning to add me as a Conjoint Collaborateur. However, he is shocked to say the least to be told first thing this morning in the introductory meeting that Conjoint Collaborateur has been scrapped. We are now in a predicament of what to do. I have suffered with cancer and had hoped to get into the healthcare system via this method, quickly and without delay. What are our new options? Advice needed urgently, please.
