EIRL or acte d’insaisabilite?

I noticed on one of your previous answers you refer an acte d’insaisabilite over registering as an EIRL. I was wondering if this is still the case or whether anything has changed? Is it still advisable to choose the acte d’insaisabilite over EIRL to protect family assets and home? What is the downfall of registering as an EIRL over auto-entrepreneur with an acte d’insaisabilite?
