DPE Ratings for Chambres d’hote

After many years of making improvements to our house we are finally ready to let out a couple of rooms. (We will check back to your excellent course, which we bought a year or two ago, on steps to take next.)
However, we are now becoming alarmed at what we have been hearing and reading about DPE ratings and how these can impact sales of properties. Will DPE ratings also have an impact on renting out our rooms?
We have spent a fortune on renovations, and did the work ourselves so don’t have any invoices/receipts from contractors.
Should we / can we pay for a DPE rating ourselves?
