Does an entreprise individuelle have to have a professional bank account?

My business is in communications and I really don’t need all the extras that come with the professional bank account in France, e.g. I don’t take card payments, I don’t need a business card, cheque book etc. I receive one or two payments per month. The advisor at the bank is insisting that I need a professional bank account (30 euros per month) rather than just a current bank account for my simple and limited transactions.
He is also insisting that I need the account in order to get a Siren and Kbis—not true as I already have my Siren and I used this in place of a Kbis when I signed up for a pro account with Orange. Can’t help but feel like this bloke is working on commission.
