Documents needed to register as tiler and handyman business in France?

I want to register as an auto-entrepreneur business here in France for revetement des sols et des murs and homme toutes mains. I have proof of three years experience in tiling (self-employed) in the form of annual tax assessments. Will the tax documents be acceptable as proof? Should I register online as an auto-entrepreneur first or is it advisable to go to the chamber des metiers with proof of experience before registering on line? Do I need to supply a translation of my proof documents? If so, where should I get them translated?
