Do we have to declare medical insurance payments recieved?

My husband has been off sick since the beginning of December 2014. We have an insurance that guaranteed an income in case of accident, and we have been receiving this monthly since the accident. We have also been receiving the 17 euros daily allowance from the RSI. As it is getting to the end of the year we need to know where we stand on declaring this insurance payment. Do we have to declare this as unearned income? If so, where on the form?
