Do I need to do any accounting for my auto-entrepreneur?

Do I need to do any accounting for my auto-entrepreneur business based here in France? I don’t sell things but have had to pay out for materials for my cleaning and gardening business.

I declare my taxes every three months on paper form but they don’t ask for a breakdown of work, dates etc. I keep all my outgoing payment receipts, so how do I do my end of year tax return or declaration Can I switch to doing declarations online and if so, how do I do it?
