Do I need to charge TVA?

My husband and I are both separately registered as auto-entrepreneurs here in France. Our only “client” is the company we both work for who are based in the UK. We noticed this year we may need to charge TVA.
Firstly, can you confirm that we charge in the first month that our annual income each exceeds 33201 Euros? Also, is it possible to apply for a TVA number online?
