Do I need to add an activity code to Import from a none EU country?

I received my letter from INSEE quickly and now have my SIRET/SIREN numbers. I am registered as vente a distance sur catalogue general and I may want to import my stock from countries outside of the EU. Do I have to register another activity as an importer and can I do this online? Also do you know if customs clearance has an English speaking department? I speak French, but of course it would be so much easier when dealing with complex matters.
