Do I need permission from landlord to start a business in France?

I will be working on location at clients’ homes or outside to carry out the actual photography side of my business, but I will be using my PC at home to conduct the processing, editing, phone calls and marketing side of the business. Clients will not be coming to the apartment at any time. My apartment is rented and would like to know if I will need the landlord’s permission to register as a business using the address?
