Do I need insurance for my business?

I’ve set up a business classified under camping. Clients camp and fish at our property. I’ve read that business insurance is mandatory for certain types of business, but I’ve no idea whether or not I need to be covered by law. I plan to get insured eventually, but it’s not currently on my priority list. Does anyone know if it should be?
