Do I need a business bank account?

I have had a personal account at Credit Agricole for several years. One year ago, I registered as an auto-entrepreneur and began having payments from my clients go into this account. Today, one year later, the bank tells me that I cannot have my payments go into this personal account as an auto-entrepreneur, that I need to open a professional account. Is this so? If not, can you point me to some legal wording or something on the internet that I can show them?
