Do different countries tax authorities communicate with France Impots?

I am working on some Impots tax declarations retrospectively but my earning history and where I earned it is a little complicated. It is quite possible that I might use the Impots form which declares my money was earned abroad, as in some years it was - in the UK and Italy.

I’d like to know whether or not the French Impots tax authorities communicate with the British or Italian tax authorities with the intention of double checking declarations / mistakes etc etc.
