Do I need to change my status from commerciale to artisan?

I am registered as activité commerciale but recently I have started making curtains and wish to continue which means I will also be acting as an Artisan. In the future, I am foreseeing that my activity for both may become split 50/50. Do I need to change my status from commerciale to artisan? Also, this will be the first trimester where I will be declaring my curtain making revenue. I understand the social charges are different for both activities. Do I show and declare both revenues separately?
