Delay in auto-entrepreneur registration and what to do about cotisations?
Despite having declared auto-entrepreneur status in mid December, my status is still not finalised. Recently RSI has cancelled my carte vitale because they have no record of me having started up in business again. I closed my last business end 2008. I have contacted URSSAF several times. They say that my declaration is still ‘en cours’ and that I just have to wait for an immatriculation number. I have also contacted RSI and have sent them my original declaration to see if this will get me back on the system.
Meanwhile, I should be due to pay my first trimester cotisations in April. I mentioned this to URSSAF and they just said that I have to wait. Does this mean that I wait until the 2nd trimester and pay two lots at once? I’m confused! I think that URSSAF are getting fed up of my questions, so any help that you can give would be appreciated.
