Declare mixed activity?

My hubby set up as an auto-entrepreneur from 1st Jan and I think he will make his first declaration 30th April, as he needs to have done 90 days, is this correct? So I will set up the net entreprises for him sometime before April. Does he need to declare anywhere that he will have a mixed activity? Will he just declare his services each time and pay 21.3% as well as any materials he has sold at 12%?

I have been to the Chambre de Commerce with regards to wedding planning idea of mine. Thought I would be paying 21.3% on my turnover but the nice young man said no, it would be sales so 12% of turnover or total of a wedding. But then hubby reminded me that surely I would have to pay 12% on the total of the wedding but my fee would be a service so then would pay 21.3% of that as well. The man certainly didn’t explain it like that and now my head is all in a tizz and can’t think how anyone manages to make any money doing anything here. Can you clarify for me what type of activity I would be and what charges I would pay?

One last thing, can anyone confirm if auto-entrepreneur’s can benefit from a setup grant of 1000 euros - think it may be called pass creation. Speaking to C de M, Chambre de Commerce and Conseil Reg and no one seems to be able to agree whether auto-entrepreneur’s are allowed it.
