Customer service work and the auto-entrepreneur scheme?
At present I’m employed as a customer support agent for an Irish company. I work from home, 40 hours per week. The role consists of replying to customer queries by phone, live online chat, and email. I am now hoping to move this work to Lyon in France, as my partner has relocated there for postgraduate study. My employer has confirmed that I can perform my work duties from France as long as I do so on an independent contractor business.
I am an Irish citizen, so I am eligible to live and work in France. I am also renting an apartment with my partner in Lyon that will serve as my office when I am self-employed.
I’m wondering would this type of work be suitable for the auto-entrepreneur scheme in France? In which case I would really love to make use of your registration service. I have made some attempts at navigating the registration process myself, but my limited grasp of the language, and the amount of paperwork seemingly involved, has me overwhelmed.
