Co-joints or separate micro entrepreneurs?

My partner and I are starting an online sales business. We can do this jointly or we can each do it separately. We are keen to establish the most tax efficient way to do this with regards to social charges and tax. Basic details as follows:

  1. Online furniture sales operated from home
  2. Estimated turnover €15-20k jointly or €8-10k individually

Is there anything to stop us both setting up as entrepreneurs rather than co-joints. I am aware that as co-joints, my partner would have minimum social charges of €3000 euros in year 1.

Thank you
