Closing a SARL stock problems?

We want to close down our SARL and do it as, e.g. an auto-entrepreneur, but need a bit of advice re the best way to deal with the stock in the SARL. I run and am director of the business and have a 70% share while my husband has the remaining 30% of the shares. We have about 20,000 euros of stock. Most stocks were bought in the France, UK, Pay-Bay and some from Asia. I only paid TVA on any French stocks bought.

We’ve been told that the cost to close the SARL will be in the region of 2500 euros, plus we’ll have to pay all the TVA back so this would mean adding just short of 4000 euros on top of the admin fees just to get out of it. Is there a more cost effective way to deal with stocks when closing a SARL? Someone told me to sell them to ourselves before we close it, but I’m not sure that’s legal.
