Close an EIRL business to restart as auto-entrepreneur with same activity?

I closed down my entreprise individuelle à responsabilité limitée (EIRL) business in France (after 15 years trading) at the end of 2014 and all the forms were completed and confirmed by the régime social des indépendants (RSI) and other organisations and the business officially closed on 31/12/2014.

I am thinking of starting up again as an auto entrepreneur business in the same business activity as before, i.e. electrician and plumber, but I have heard there is a minimum delay before one can start up again, is this correct?
