Change from Entreprise Individuel to Micro Entrepreneur

I mistakenly created a business as an enterprise individuelle when it should be a micro-enterprise. When I contacted INPI they told me that it would be a simple change and that I would need to contact the local SIE and ask them to change it. This doesn’t sound right to me as I would have thought that INSEE and Greffe would also need to be advised, not to mention URSSAF. I’ve already checked and there is no way for me to make this change on the INPI website. Do you have any experience of this, can you help or direct me as to what I should do to rectify this mistake?
