Hi Valerie, yet another question on CFE for you which seems to be the popular thread at the moment!
I am registered as Agent Commercial Immobilier and was originally on the Auto-Entrepreneur/Micro-Entreprise regime but was forced to change to Regime Reel this year after exceeding the limit last year with a turnover of 41 930€
My wife has been registered on the Auto-Entrepreneur/Micro-Entreprise regime since July 2010 for the three gites we have alongside our home whose turnover last year 13 863€.
I went online this week to pay both our CFE bills after receiving an email reminder and my CFE is 211€ which is the sort of amount I was expecting. However, my wife’s is 584€ despite an income around a third of mine so are you able to explain why there is such a huge difference. Is it calculated on the size of the premisies? As we already pay a large amount in Taxe Fonciere and Taxe d’Habitation because there are four houses in total and the other things that come with a gite complex it seems grossly unfair.
Grateful for any advice, thank you
