Carte vitale delay

I’m currently covered under my partner’s carte vitale by virtue of the Ayant Droit and I was wondering if its acceptable to keep using this whilst waiting for the new card to be issued, following registration as an Auto Entrepreneur? I’ve seen from the posts that there may be some delay in receiving the new card, and also a delay in my existing Mutuelle receiving the documentation from URSSAF, so is it OK to keep using the existing card or is that cancelled immediately?
