Carte competence and talent needed for non EU members?
I am planning a move to Paris come May of 2009. I will be attending La Sorbonne for French language and culture classes. Unless you suggest otherwise, I will be coming on my student visa. I am a 26 year old working professional. I am a website designer and developer and will continue to freelance for clients while in school.
I want to establish myself under the new auto-entrepreneurs business, but I do not know where to start. Should I come on a student visa and get my temporary residency card then apply for Auto-entrepreneurs status? Or may I apply now, before I leave the United States, and come on a different visa type?
I am adding many layers of complexity since I am not even in France yet, but when I heard about the new Auto-entrepreneurs I was elated knowing that this is exactly what I needed in order to make my dreams come true. Any advice would be wonderful.
