- As an auto-entrepreneur business in France, if it is registered in my name only, could my boyfriend, who I plan to live with, officially work with me?
- If so, would the income be split between us or would all of the income still be declared in my name only?
- If it could be split, how would I declare his status to the régime social des indépendants (RSI), i.e. what title would I call him, a dependant or something else?
- If he was registered as a conjoint collaborateur, would the ceiling for auto-entrepreneur then be raised, or does it remain the same when two people work together?
- With the micro-entrepreneur scheme, what are the rules for conjoint collaborateur under that scheme? What is the annual fee to pay for that person - currently I hear it is 3,000?
He would not receive a salary as all income would be shared in one bank account. Also we are planning to get a PACS agreement, but it is taking a long time and I don’t know when it will be complete. The reason I ask is because my income would really be supporting two people, so it would be unfair if my income was deemed to go over the threshold for auto-entrepreneur status.
